Starting A Photography Blog is Fun

27th Dec, 2009 | No Comment | Posted in computer & internet

Digital cameras are everywhere you go these days! Working with digital photos instead of the traditional film and paper print photos is cheap, there is no wasted paper to end up in landfills and they take up almost no physical space at all! It seems like just about everyone has a digital camera these days that can snap photographs of just about anything in a matter of moments.

Whether you are a pro photographer or an amateur shutterbug you’ll still like the ease of digital photography. And what is better than just snapping lots of digital pictures is the easy way you can display them to other people. There are many different ways to let others enjoy your photos, from electronic picture frames to printing them out to keeping them on your cell phone.

One of the newest ways to share your photos to others is with a photography blog. A blog is a website that allows an writer to publish instant updates onto Internet about just about any subject imaginable. A photography blog can include the digital images you took on any given day or trip. You can include comments about your photographs and you can tell people about why you took the images and where you were when you took them.

To start a photography blog you just need to find some no cost blogging websites and pick a blog name. Most blogging sites are easy to get started with. You simply write your ideas out in a post, insert your digital photographs from your PC and the blogging software pretty much does the rest. When you are satisfied with a post you “publish” it and everyone around the world can instantly view it!

Remember a blog can be a two-way communication tool! With a photo web log you can not only share your photos with others but you can also allow visitors to write comments on your posts. Getting commends from visitors to your web log is part of the excitement of posting your images online. If you allow comments on your photos then you can also learn what other people like and do not like about your images.

You can share a bunch of images of a trip to Florida one day and then post images of some grass in your front yard the next day. Remember not to worry about always composing a article that’s going to make other people happy. It’s your photo blog and you can post pictures of whatever you like. Just try to enjoy the ability to publish your digital images so easily with your own blog!
