A yellow spot is discovered right by the cuticle as a result with this form. Not only that but debris works up under the nail and the blemish becomes plaque afterward. The nail will become fragile, drab, weak and thick. The whole nail could be separated from the nail bed. One thing of importance, keep in mind that this form of fungus may result into a dangerous disease because of its association with AIDS.

Distal Subungual Onychomycosis

The most common form of fungal infection. The area between the tip of the nail and tip of the toe or skin folds (at the nail sides) is encroached upon in this kind. Effects are just about similar to the other forms. Nails turn yellowish and in the end, removed off the nail bed.
